New Construction Drywall in Austin, TX

Whole houses and commercial, boarded and finished to the schedule — in Austin and all around it.

On new construction the drywall sits between the trades that came before it and every trade that follows, so the schedule matters as much as the finish. Board goes up after the inspections and before the trim, paint and floors, and everything downstream is waiting on it being finished properly the first time.

We supply the material and take a house from bare framing through hang, tape, float and texture, at whatever finish level the job is specified to.

What's included

Long straight runs are the advantage of new work and the thing that has to be planned. Where the butt joints land across a twenty-foot wall decides how much finishing the room needs and how it looks once the lights go in, so the layout is decided before the first sheet rather than left to wherever the board happens to end.

Tell us where the specified finish level changes. A house is rarely one level throughout — the garage does not need what the entry does — and pricing it as one number either overcharges you or undercharges the walls that matter.

How we work

Take-off and schedule

We measure, price the material with the labour, and agree where the job sits between the trades before and after us.

Hang

Ceilings then walls, laid out so the joints land where they should across long runs.

Tape, float, texture

Coats built and dried in sequence, then the specified texture or a Level 5 skim where the drawings call for it.

Walk it before we leave

We walk the job with you against the light before calling it done, because the punch list is cheaper to avoid than to work through.

New Construction by city

Raeford, Fayetteville and the towns around them are not one market — a Fort Bragg rental turning over, a brick ranch off Bragg Boulevard and a new build in Hope Mills are three different jobs.

Common questions

Do you work with builders on a schedule?
Yes. Tell us the dates the trades either side of us are working to and we will tell you honestly whether they fit, rather than agree and hold everyone up.
Can you do commercial as well as houses?
Yes. Tenant finishes and commercial interiors are the same trade with different specifications, and the finish level tends to be spelled out rather than assumed.
Is the material really included?
Yes — board, screws and bead come with the job. It is one number rather than a labour price plus whatever the yard charges that month.
